this one was actually written and recorded separate from the rest, in june of 2018. i pulled some inspiration from the love letters exchanged between virginial woolf and vita sackville-west. its about falling in love and being afraid and excited all of those great feelings that come with stuff like that, all while my parents were selling the house lived in my whole life to a builder who would knock it down.
its like, its okay to get invested in something so wonderful and beautiful even though it might not last forever, and it might really crush you when its over. but its important to have moments like that, where you're really comfortable and trusting - whether it be of a space or a person. and like nothings forever, but that also means that nothings gone forever either maybe? i hope.
i included this song because i always wanted to release it. when the full length full band record comes out, the song Chlorophyll takes lyrics from this one, so i thought it might be some nice context for when that comes out.
